Before launching its social game “La Vecindad de El Chavo”, Playful Interactive requested moderated usability test with end users. The game can be installed on the Facebook profile of any user.
To perform the test, a recruitment screener was designed, the recruitment itself was made, and "think aloud" testing and interviews were conducted. The sessions were videotaped using Morae as evidence of ideas and perceptions of users. Using this we identified improvement opportunities in navigation, interaction and the game interface. At the end, a survey was applied. The results debrief was used to improve the game before launch.
