Grainger Mexico

Usability testing and internet presence

Oct 2010 - May 2012
Monterrey, N.L.

Grainger Mexico needed a usability test of their ecommerce site to determine how to improve their web presence. The test was performed using a heuristic evaluation using inspections. A team of Usaria consultants conducted a cognitive walk of the site where improvements were identified for five areas: shopping experience, visual design, information architecture, interaction and interface design, SEO and web standards .

Once the study was completed the results were documented: They were later used to determine actions needed for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM), implemented during 2011 and 2012.
