By the second semester of 2009, Amway Latin America began redesigning their entire e-commerce strategy for 12 countries. Usaria was selected to collaborate with this project. We redesigned the e-commerce site beginning with its conceptual and strategic phase, incorporating UX best practices and achieving a positive experience for Amway clients.
Furthermore, we performed usability tests in different countries to ensure that the redesign met the user expectations. For these tests we designed a recruitment screener, interviewed users using the "think aloud" technique and recording with Morae, and debriefed the results. We also gave consultation to incorporate practices and guidelines of user experience in the ecommerce team of the company.
